Here’s a shot taken last summer of the Tatlock quarry near Almonte

The last signs of winter are disappearing.  Here is the remains of the ice on Dows Lake.  You can see where the Rideau Canal Skateway was plowed out of the snow, and the ice thickened by flooding when it was cold.
